Senior Embedded Software Engineer – BS – £60k – Medical Devices

My client are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their high performing team who are working on cutting edge projects within the Medical Device field. Due to the success of the company, they are looking to expand the team.

The main skills needed for this role are:

• High technical literacy across software and electronics
• Skilled in embedded firmware design (C/C++ ) OR App development
• Knowledge of a higher level language such as Python, Javascript or Java/Kotlin/Swift
• Use of git version control
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Aims to develop technical and leadership skills
• Able to work cooperatively and dependably as part of a team
• Great attention to detail

Highly desirable additional skills and experience are:

• Experience of BLE development (Nordic chipsets preferable)
• Experience of the IEC 62304 standard for medical device software development

Education:

• 1st or 2:1 degree in a Software/Electronics related subject
