C# Software Engineer (OOD, UML, Model Driven Engineering) – Edinburgh/Luton – £65k

My Client are hiring for talented C# Software Engineers (OOD, UML, Model Driven Engineering) to work on exciting Defence projects. This role offers flexible working with occasional travel to site in Luton or Edinburgh.

As a C# Software Engineer (OOD, UML, Model Driven Engineering), you will work within an integrated project team and be responsible for creating high quality and robust designs and code; for fully documenting and recording your work products; keeping them under configuration management and providing plans and progress reports.

• Creating high-quality and robust digital electronics designs
• Documenting and recording deliverables
• Supporting integration & verification activities at hardware and system level
• Keeping designs under configuration control
• Providing progress reports

Your focus will be:

• Experience developing software in industry, or experience of a research and development organisation
• Programming in an object-oriented programming language. C# is mandatory.
• Confident in Object Oriented Design and UML (Unified Modelling Language)
• Familiarity with Model Driven Engineering

• Relevant science-based honours degree e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Electronic Engineering (BSc (Hon)/ BEng (Hon)/ MEng)

Remuneration Offered:

Permanent:

• Salary £35,000 – £65,000 (depending on Candidate Experience) + Benefits
• UK citizenship is mandatory to be able to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance
• Current valid SC clearance would be an advantage

• up to £65 per hour (Outside IR35)
