Electronics Design Engineer – £63k – Hybrid Working

The Senior Electronics Engineer will fulfill a critical role in the electronic engineering department within our client’s new product development team and will be a technical lead for electronic design providing guidance and solutions for new and existing products.

Over the last couple of years our client has seen a sustained period of growth, this role is pivotal in continuing the growth trajectory and is integral within the new product design department.

Day-to-Day Role and Responsibility:

• Identifying requirements, providing, and implementing EE solutions for new and existing products
• Production of fully validated PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics & BOMs within given deadlines.
• Production of firmware code to support EE designs.
• Troubleshooting, modifying existing designs, recommending, and implementing design improvements.
• Support the Electronic Engineering Manager with the development of new and existing projects.
• Keeping up to date with current developments within the floorcare and electronics industry

Essential Skills:

• Experience with consumer products from concept through to Mass production
• Experience in electronic product design
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design (including DFM, DFC, DFT, and EMC)
• Experience with PCB design using Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Embedded C experience with Microcontrollers
