Due to the creation of a new venture-backed Physical AI spin-out, my client is looking for a Founder CEO to lead the formation, fundraising and scaling of a category-defining deep-tech company.
The successful candidate will be working directly with the Board and investors to turn existing spatial intelligence IP into a scalable platform business across robotics, industrial automation, defence, space and safety-critical environments.
You will be given the opportunity to build the company from inception, shape the executive leadership team, define the investment narrative and lead a major fundraising process of up to $100m.
The successful candidate will have proven experience raising significant institutional capital and will be able to communicate complex technology into a compelling commercial and investor story.

Founder CEO Expected Contributions:
Lead the formation and strategic direction of a Physical AI spin-out.
Build and execute a capital formation strategy capable of raising up to $100m.
Develop a compelling investment narrative for VC, strategic investors and sovereign wealth funds.
Define product and platform strategy across spatial intelligence, sensing, localisation, autonomy and orchestration.
Recruit and build a world-class executive leadership team.
Lead commercialisation from pilot activity through to scaled deployment.
Establish strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators and industrial operators.
Work closely with the Board, investors and existing technical team.
Founder CEO Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Founder, CEO, President, COO, GM or senior executive in a venture-backed technology business.
Proven fundraising credibility, ideally with significant capital raised across deep tech, robotics, automation, AI, semiconductor or industrial technology.
Strong access to West Coast VCs, strategic investors and/or sovereign wealth funds.
Ability to raise capital quickly through a disciplined and high-conviction fundraising process.
Experience building and scaling companies, teams or business units from early stage through growth.
Strong understanding of hardware/software platform businesses.
Ability to sell a complex technical vision to investors, customers and future employees.
Comfortable operating in stealth and building from a clean company structure.
Founder CEO Desirable Skills:
Experience within Physical AI, robotics, autonomy, spatial intelligence, sensor fusion, industrial automation, defence or space.
Previous founder or spin-out experience.
Experience raising $30m–$100m+.
Strong relationships across Sand Hill Road / Silicon Valley investor networks.
Experience selling into enterprise, industrial or safety-critical customers.
Prior experience building executive teams across engineering, finance, sales and commercial functions.
Understanding of real-world deployment constraints including latency, reliability, calibration and safety.
Salary and Package:
$250,000 total compensation.
Significant equity participation, circa 15%.
